It might be summer, but one thing that still shines brighter than the sun is a dainty dash of kitty cat cuteness. 

Summer is officially here, everyone, and honestly, as much as love winter, we have to say that we have been waiting for this. We needed the gloom to be over with. We needed the sun to shine and warm our bones. We needed our cats to have more sun spots to sunbathe in because watching them do it makes us happy. The sun is out, but thing still outshines it. It's the same thing that we have been using to stay warm throughout the cold months. It's funny cat memes, of course. 

Laughing at silly cats is how we stay warm on the inside. Waking up, scrolling through adorable cat pictures, wholesome cat stories, it's how we distract ourselves from everything that stresses us out and makes us want to stay home. All it takes is a few minutes. A short break. It's a simple thing. But it works. It's why felines continue to rule the internet. Because their mere existence is something that puts a smile on our faces and makes us warm on the inside whether the sun is out or not.

  • It's funny that they thought a little bit of height was going to stop this cat from getting to this cake. It's a cat. An older cat, by the looks of it, but still a cat. And if this cat wants to sit on this cake, then she will find a way to do it. It doesn't even look like she wants to eat it. She just wants to sit on it. And really, we think that that is beautiful.

  • They really do sigh! It's baffling! We look at their lives, and we are jealous of those lives. No responsibilities, no concerns, just napping and snacking. But maybe not. If they sigh, then there must be something to sigh over. We wish we knew what it is that they think, what it is that they think is so difficult about their lives. It must be the fact that we don't give them enough snacks. Not enough wet food. Can't be anything else, right?
